Hello,
I was just wondering if anyone has tried serzone or an
SSRI with wellbutrin for social anxiety and how that
worked out. Please let me know how long you were
taking the meds also. Thanks a lot! Everybody take
care.

I take Paxil for social anxiety (as well as general anxiety). It has worked wonderfully for me. I started feeling the effects about 5 weeks after I started it, and I've been on it for about 6 months. I still marvel at how my quality of life has improved. Of course everyone responds differently to each medication, but I think that Paxil is a good place to start for social anxiety.
The only side effect I have is sexual. I think that this side effect tends to be a little higher with Paxil than with other SSRI's. It is my understanding that adding Wellbutrin counteracts this to some extent (something that I'm considering).Good luck!
Jen
