Both Neurontin and Lyrica affected me cognitively. I felt as if I were somehow pinned to the floor and could not think. I was in a perpetual mental fog. With both drugs, this state lasted for 2 - 3 weeks after discontinuing them. They are poison to me. I am suspicious that antagonism of the alpha2delta-1 subunit of the calcium receptor is the culprit.
