Some people are so severly ADHD, Narcoleptic, and, or have such a fast metabolism that only higher doses of ADHD, Narcolepsy, medicine help.
Some prominent ADD/ADHD Docs will dose to 1.5mg kg BW of Ritalin and half that dose of Dex, to control symptoms. I know a bloke who requires 80mgs Desoxyn (20mgs Q.I.D, 5mgs tabs) for basic control, of awakeness, + Provigal 600mgs.
