part of me wants to skip therapy....

Posted by obsidian on February 2, 2010, at 23:42:43

but I'm afraid my time slot will disappear if I do.
I'm afraid if I don't show up my T will just forget about me.
I sort of would prefer withdrawal at this time. I can't stand listening to myself, let alone subjecting my T to it.
eh, can't win I guess...

Med changes are the most horrible experiences.

Did you skip therapy? I say go in. Often my best sessions are the ones I most wanted to skip.

My best T told me once that a person can 'take a break' from therapy if they want. Take time off if necessary. You aren't ending it, you just want a break. I like that thought.
