Hey ya'll....does anyone know about getting county mental health care (free) in Maryland? Specifically, Montgomery County. I do not presently work (getting some worker's comp, but not much). I have no assets to draw from either. If any of you are in MD (or know someone who may be already getting assistance) please let me know.

Maybe you've already done this, but....have you checked their web page?
It seems to give 2 numbers to call or walk-in if you hate making phone calls like I do. One in county, the other is the Maryland APS. The people there should have the answer, or point you to where you can find out if you quality for free MH care.

Also - do you know anyone there, or maybe there might be some information available from any support groups you're in. Perhaps there's a support group where you're moving to & that might be a good source of info & of course 'support'.
