small humorous side note

Posted by Happyflower on June 24, 2008, at 20:40:48

I always know when my T is trying to tie up the session because I either know the time or his secretary beeps his phone warning T that the next client has showed up for their appt. So the ending a lot of times are kinda awkward because usually the session is so intense, so he does his best to end things calmly with positive talk.

Lately we have talked a little about Bob Newhart show, and how he ends sessions with, "Times up" and he rises out of his chair.
When I noticed our session went over, I saw my T noticing that, and before he could wrap things up, I sat up in my chair, he knew I knew, and then I said, Times Up! through my tears, but it was okay.
I have had enough for one session. We both had a nice laugh at the end.

Sorry if this is like another beep, but please share this site with others by not starting more than 3 consecutive threads on the same board.

But please don't take this personally, this doesn't mean I don't like you or think you're a bad person.

Follow-ups regarding these issues should be redirected to Psycho-Babble Administration.

Thanks,

Bob

Sorry about that, I didn't even realize it, most of my posts were started on completely different days.

I am sure if others wanted to post, I am sure my posts wouldn't have stopped them.

I didn't realize I wasn't "sharing" this site. Sorry for being/appearing selfish Dr. Bob and to those who reported it.

I think I will just take a break from this site then so others can talk.

((((Happyflower))))

I hope you don't stop posting. I don't see that others are having any trouble talking.
