This has probably been broached before but ... I'd like to research the psychologist who is treating a family member. In many ways I think he (the psychologist) is doing well with my family member but I see some snap decisions being made too. I came across a rating someplace (can't remember where) that gave this psych 3-1/2 stars out of 5 (I think) so I'm wondering what other people are or have experienced.
So, the question: Where Can I Find A Place That Has Ratings or Evaluations on a Given Psychologist?

I heard and visited a site b4 but forgot the url but those sites arent' updated frequently i believe but could be wrong. Alot of times you go by word of mouth, experience it for yourself kinda deal. I'm on my 3rd psych already. didn't really like the 1st one plus had to pay copay's, the 2nd one was nice but too far, and i'm on my 3rd one soon to my x psych cuz she hasn't called me back and is poor w/ scheduling so I've had my psych session w/ rskontos here on babble. she's a Godsend I tell ya. :D

I don't know the name of the web site either, but try googling "rate your doctor" ... I think a lot of sites will pop up.
But I don't think these are necessarily an accurate assessment of a particular doctor. A person who is happy with their doctor will not usually seek out a web site to rate him/her. An unhappy patient/client is more apt to seek something like that out. What I'm try to say, it's skewed towards negativity. Also, it should tell you how many people the rating is based on.
This is the end of the thread.
