My pdoc told me that me going to the Babble Party is a step forward for me. I'm going to meet people who know the things I usually keep to myself. In real life I never let anyone know the "real me".
I'm going to practice socializing on the Babble trip.
I anticipate a lot of stress on the trip. I don't think I'll be able to sleep the whole time I'm there. I hope it will be good stress, a feeling of excitement sort of stress.
I may write about my Babble trip experience. I may take notes along the way.

Last year's Babble trip was a pivotal point for me. I wanted to go so badly, that I pushed myself out of my comfort zone (staying home...). And I had a GREAT time. Since then I've enrolled in school and just finished my second semester. The Babble trip gave me the confidence to move forward.
I hope it can help you, too!
