The scairey thing is I am not joking!!! Luckily, there are different versions of the program.

I think that one is slightly better. There is another natural language program called 'Parry' who is supposed to be a model of a paranoid patient (some psychiatrists thought the program was an actual paranoid patient). It would be fun to pit them against each other - and apparantly this has been done. If anyone could find a link for Parry I would be grateful, I can't find one...

http://www.stanford.edu/group/SHR/4-2/text/dialogues.html

I read that page and found it to be quite interesting and humourous. Wow, check out Racter on that page. I never knew a conversation between AI is entertaining to read.

Or this:

It would be quite interesting to actually be able to download Parry and converse with him, if its possible somehow online.

:)

to be perfectly honest, I don't much like this new therapist of yours. Nothing personal, I'm sure, but I kind of want to beat her up. But I won't! Don't worry. I'll just stay away from her.

TOO FUNNY!!! I'm sending it to my T :) (nm)
