Just wondering what people feel about the use of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) for depression? And if it's helped anyone?
Many thanks

I had a p-doc who I respected very much mention NLP to me. I did some research, and in my personal opinion what a crock of crap.
Don't get me wrong, it seems to have application with respect to motivational psychology (how to sell more houses as a real estate agent and how to perform optimally in sports) but overall, I delegate it to the popular psycho-crap heap.
Most of the NLP claims have been found to be a crock. Just my personal opinion...

Hi, I have a friend who was/is??? a certified NLP trainer. She never tried to "sell" it to me, but she once explained its appeal: an opportunity to make money.
She no longer leads classes.
