Hi there. this is my first post - fyi.
just wondering if anyone out there on Lexapro has experienced side effects of intense dreams, and over-tiredness. seems like that's normal for SSRIs. Lexapro has helped my anxiety a lot. i've been on the 10 mg for about 3 months. i don't wake up with racing thoughts, and def. have been able to reduce overall anxiety. i also moved out of nyc and got a new job. that could help too. :)
but - anyway - in addition to being tired a lot, i haven't been able to get up early and get to the gym. i have a lot of energy normally - but .. i haven't been motivated to work out.
i'm going to start weening off. it's not worth gaining weight and feeling low energy at work.
does anyone have any suggestions for natural serotin increasers.. or alternative methodes.
thanks in advance.

Hi, and welcome.
This site has quite a few boards. This is Psychological Babble. It's just the right place to discuss psychological treatments for your anxiety and motivation problems.
The medication board is plain Psycho-Babble. That would be the place where you'd be most likely to get answers about Lexapro and its side effects and efficacy.
There is also Psycho-Babble Alternative, where you might want to post your questions about "natural" alternatives.
And of course, Psycho-Social Babble for support as well as "just" having fun.
You might want to go up to the top of this page under Dr. Bob's picture to find a list of all the boards.
It can be a bit of a pain to break up your questions into various bits to address the proper board, I know. But Babble is a great place and I hope you find the help you're looking for here.
Welcome.
