I find self-hypnosis to be a good tool in the arsenal. And I think most hypnotists do teach you to do self-hypnosis.
Do I think that presto chango you can be cured of social anxiety by a post hypnotic suggestion? I'm skeptical, which is probably why it wouldn't work for me. If you really really believe it would work, it probably would. :)
