i know this may sound crazy coming frome a sucidal person who never belived in god befor(just thought i'd throw that in) but i have thought realy hard about difrent religions and science(darwin in particular) and come to a conclusion. the sun is god. think realy hard .the bible says that god created us in his image. the sun is a ball of energy and every atom in the univers has electrons going around it.it also say in the bible that we cannot see god(i think correct me if i'm wrong) what happens if you stare at the sun. you see the light coming off of it not the actuall sun. this is only my thery but it kinda links alota religions together and science.but being a person who DIDNT belive in god i never study the bible very hard.i belive that the preachers changeg the bible over the period between now and when it was written.unless i am wrong it was written in a somewhat dead language(it wasnt used much) so the preatchers could say it said whatever they whant it to say. but of course some of the real bible has to be left in it.I am also against orginized religion(i know that sounds bad)but i have a feeling god dose not care if we go to church,or donate money to it. i think he whants us to have an IDEA about him so that in the after life we arnt caught completly off gaurd of the way things work

i appreciat critism and people being honest but pleas dont knock my idea it means alot to me and has gotten me through some rough times.

Organized religion is over rated. All these people dress up one day a week, go to a place and listen to some fat white guy in a robe telling people what "GOD" told him in his sleep. This is such a crock! Once a week, I, go to a church and play music. I don't really pay attention to the title of the music, i just like playing music. When this group plays during services, I tune out everything that comes out of the mouth of that babbling moron. Once i'm done playing the music, I leave. I am "off and up out." Having some guy tell you his interpretation of the book he calls the bible, which just happens to be someone elses interpretation of what they think GOD told them in their sleep, is stupid. If I wanted to sit around and listen to people do this, I would just stay in colloge the rest of my life.
To me, I don't believe that there is a GOD, and if a man named Jesus onces lived and was born to a man named Joseph and a woman named Mary, then so be it. Also, where is this 'heaven' place that they keep talking about. There has never been proof that this place exists. When i was young, I was told that my Grandfather went to heaven when he died. Where did he go if his body is in the ground at a cemetary? If he ever left, why did he come back? Was this 'heaven' place a dump? Did he get thrown out because he spoke his mind once to many times? Who knows, but I'm sure that happens to every body.
Why do people go to confessionals? Do they think that it will make everything better? "Father, this week I did a lap dance and I enjoyed it. Please forgive me." Give me a break! You could never be cleared of ALL your sins because we , according to the fat man in the robe, are all decendents of Adam and Eve. They both sinned because they ate the forbidden fruit. The fact that they had sex didn't help ant either. This then makes us all sinners for eternity because we are related to these fornicating horn dogs.
