Hi Everyone. Sometimes folks on other boards mention babblemail. It seems like you can use this to e-mail privately other babblers? How do you do this? Thanks! Lucia

Hi, below I've pasted info from the FAQ about babblemail. I'ts not all that helpful, actually. (Sorry, Dr. Bob).
You're already set up to receive babblemail. I can tell this because in your message, your posting name at the top is in blue. If you click on a babbler's blue name in a post, it opens up a new window with the babblemail box in it. Just type your message in there and send. It will go to their email as a message with the header "Babblemail from....". If you receive a babblemail, (and you should, because I just sent you one), in order to reply, click on the link within the email. If you use your usual "reply" function of your email program, the reply will get lost in the Babble server until Dr. Bob finds it.
Hope this helps. It's a good feature, just a bit hard to find good info on how it works and how to set it up. You're not the first and surely won't be the last to ask.

From FAQ: This site lets members send messages ("babblemail") directly to each other using just posting names. The messages are sent as email, but by the server, so the sender doesn't need to know the recipient's (and the recipient doesn't find out the sender's) email address. To give it a try, go to the babblemail form. If you want, test it out by sending a message to yourself. Babblemail is turned off by default. To turn it on, update your registration and check the "accept babblemail" box.
This is the end of the thread.
