how long to note effects of fish oil (EPA/DHA)

i do not know the ratio typically found in fish oil.

i would be taking algae oil (vegetarian alternative.) massive expensive quantities.

want to get into the therapeutic range that people respond to with fish oil.

my goal is to get to the dose that is most helpful for prefrontal cortex function. i am pretty much dead.

i would try to take a bit over 1000mg (1160mg) of EPA, which would then, with the ratio in this product would also give 3600mg of DHA.

this would involve 40 pills a day in 4 divided doses.

if this is an ideal dosage, how long does it take to notice improvement and full effect with this?
