I just wanted to say thanks!!!! I took the suggestion of using Benadryl or Claritin-D to reduce the withdrawal symptoms for Effexor. It was a major success! I was on the third day of withdrawal. I stayed in bed as still as I could as to not start up the brain shivers and nausea. Later that evening I found Dr-Bob's site and got into reading the thread. I think it was Scott who said this might work. It did! I've been up all day today. I'm able to eat, clean the house, and do errands.
