energy drinks, any real effects

Posted by cockeyed on May 31, 2005, at 0:58:18

In the past month I've discovered stuff like Rockstar, Redbull, Full Throttle, extreme remedy, etc. I stopped drinking alcohol at New years and wonder if I'm just off on a new binge. My wife says I get wild when I drink it but I don't notice much difference. Also with alcohol there is a hangover. Any hangover with this stuff? Any deleterious side-effects? Cockeyed.

They have a lot of sugar.
You can get a sugar rush and then crash.
There can be a sudden crash...

Don't think alchohol...
Think amphetamene...

Can't think of anything deleterious that might happen. A few vitamins, some caffeine, and some taurine. What they've found is a pleasant mixture.
