Mulit vits seems to cause joint aches and stiffness in me. I've tried various types, preparations... all to the same results. I know it sounds really weird but I notice the change in joint status on multi vits and off multi vits... it really is related. B vits (in and of themselves) seems to worsen night sweats for me. I just seem to have these strange reactions. Any suggestions? Is a multi a day over-rated? I know my dietary intake isn't the best for getting all I need. Our food supply, in general, doesn't lend itself to that anyway. I would like to find **something** I could tolerate without these effects and not take forty separate pills, softgels, whatever...
Again, any suggestions?

Hello,
Very interesting reaction. It could be an allergic reaction, but I don't know. If you have no yeast allergies, I'd suggest taking nutritional yeast-great source of vits/mins as well as amino acids. Try taking a kelp tablet along with this-good source of minerals/trace elements.
Another suggestion would be a proteolytic enzyme combo for you could be deficient. A great product is Wobenzym N. Another product is Inflazyme Forte. Or, try one of the green drinks. I like Magma Plus by Green Foods Corp. I believe these can be found at vitaminshoppe.com as well other on-line sources, and your local health food store. The B-vit combo does boost the adrenal gland system, which could be why you are getting night sweats from it. I try to avoid taking B vitamin combo late in day-it can make me energetic when it's bedtime.
Are you taking any kind of medication?
Take care, Lisa
