Another cool feature that could be added to PB!?

Posted by Lamdage22 on August 26, 2014, at 9:33:47

I have come across this in the German board that i recently joined. You can save and paste multiple quotations in one post!

Just throwing this out there and see what you guys think.

Regards!

Can you describe in more detail what that feature does? It seems to me you can paste multiple quotations into one post here.

BTW, do you want to experiment with posting in German? When you "enter your post", under "language", select "Deutsch", and Google Translate should automatically translate it for whoever reads it.

Hi Dr Bob,

well, if you read a thread, you can click "save post citation" and it saves the post you are looking at. You can do this multiple times. Then when you write your own post you can access and paste all the citations and answer to each and every one of them. Its pretty cool.

I am using dict.cc as a dictionary. I get along with it fine.

Thx and regards,
Julian

So like bookmarks, but easier to access and paste? I agree, that could be convenient. Anybody else want to vote for this one?

Yes, you can copy and paste posts from several people as citations into your post.

This makes it easier to keep track of who says what.
