Dr. Bob,
Sorry to take up your time.
Quick question:
I often use Word to store partial posts so I don't accidentally lose the text, or use Word for spell checking my post, or compose my post in Word.
The problem is when I block, copy, and paste the Word text into the PB message box I lose quotation marks and apostrophes after it posts to the PB webpage. This occurs in spite of the fact that the quotation marks and apostrophes show up just fine in the PB message box and they also appear in the PB; Submit your post, display.
Quotation Mark Test: "Be Civil" says Dr. Bob.
Apostrophe Test: I've learned a ton on PB over the years.

Opps. I typed the quotation marks and apostrophes within the PB message box instead of typing them within Word.
I'll do it again:
Quotation Mark Test: Be civil says Dr. Bob.
Apostrophe Test: Ive learned a ton on PB over the years.

>In text code and Psycho-Babble code, those characters are portrayed as the usual #34 and #44. However, MS Word uses keycode numbers #0146 #0147 #0148 to display those characters. They are fancier. However, it seems that you have discovered the incompatability.

Scott,Those computer classes and your general geek knowledge are paying dividends. It all went over my head, but that's okay. I'll just watch for the quotation marks and apostrophes that I type in Word and re-type them in the PB message box.
I didn't know that you speak Geek so well!!
:-)
Thanks.
