My apologies to the community for responding to a post in an uncivil manner on the medication board. I allowed my knee-jerk reaction to a post take over. I still struggle with the civility rules vs my own feelings of "if you can dish it out you'd better be prepared to take it", especially when it comes to posters I've developed close bonds of friendship with. I obviously need to try harder not to leap to the defense of others by knee-jerk posting and hit the notify administators button instead.
So I dished it out and received my PBC, I'm taking it and apologizing for the uncivil parts of my post. As far as defending my friends, no apologies there.

I totally understand what you are saying, and the struggle, believe me. It's not easy.
I'm glad Babble had led to posters making/having friends *to* defend - now that is also cool ;-)
