I am requesting that you make a determination as to if the following is acceptable in relation to the guidlines here. When I read the statement in question, I felt accused and put down.

There is a second part to the statement that when I read it I felt accused and put down. That is the part where the poster writes that she finds it [...very hard to believe...].
I feel that this type of statement is not supportive in the context of the discussion.
