An odd thing just happened. I have notification turned on for Dinah's "why are we supposed to want to live" thread over in Social and have gotten a notification email for every single message *except* Tabitha's. The URL for that message is:

It was not "close in time" to another post on the thread so I doubt it was a race condition on the server. I also received the notifications that came after it so I doubt it is a problem with my email (although there is certainly a non-zero probability of that). Has anyone else noticed this before?
Certainly not a biggie if it is rare event, but after yesterday's server problems I find myself paying closer attention to odd things (occupational hazard -- I work in the computer field <g>).Michael

Well, the Tabitha notification finally arrived about two and half hours late. According to the headers it was submitted to my ISP by Dr. Bob's server at the proper time, so the problem was with my ISP, not the server.
