Thanks for posting. Interesting. I have a probiotic at home but was too lazy to take it.

Fascinating article. A University of Wisconsin study found that using whole-body hyperthermia to induce a fever in people suffering from depression significantly improved their symptoms for at least six weeks.

Another treatment that can reboot the immune system, and that appears to help psychiatric disorders such as ADHD and autism, is a fetal stem cell transplant.

"The God Cells" is a documentary about fetal stem cells.

I have often thought that the immune system plays a significant part of my disorder.

I have noticed, that after a cold or flu, my depression symptoms can remit.

Also, I am still benefitting significantly from medical marijuana. The CB2 receptors interact significantly with the immune system. Generally it is an immune suppressant. However, I feel like what I am doing is modulating my immune system somehow. I can feel a state where immune supression seems to benenfit (even drugs like asprin can help).

I've noticed that I'm upbeat and even a little hypomanic just on the cusp of illness. Which I think is different than immune suppression, right?

Then, when I took an anti viral, I became suicidal almost overnight (I am never suicidal.) So that would also be opposite to what you describe?

I've noticed that when I have a fever, my mind becomes unusually quiet. I'd gladly undergo whole-body hyperthermia periodically in order to maintain this quiet state. This treatment is available in Canada, Germany and Austria, but not in the US.

I'm intrigued by the idea of having a fetal stem cell transplant. According to "The God Cells," the best place to go for this treatment is Kiev.
