So I cured my two-decade treatment resistant depression by treating it as Lyme instead, even though I couldn't scientifically prove on a limited budget that it was Lyme. My doc said, "We may never know exactly what the bug was and it doesn't matter....treating lyme is comprehensive and covers a wide spectrum of potential problems."
'Comprehensive' is the key word. Because within that, you aren't just taking ABX (antibiotics) for your maybe-suspected lyme, but your are also doing anti-candidas strategies, pro-nutrition strategies, anti-amalgam strategies, anti-toxin strategies, and anti-inflammation strategies. Also anti-confection strategies.
Within all of that is anti-parasite strategy. One of the primary confections in lyme whiich causes night sweats and depression and anxiety is Babesia. Killing off parasites, and mopping up their die-off, is part of treating lyme.
Is it lyme treatment with ABX that improves depression or is it parasite treatment? It doesn't matter. They go together. It's a package. Comprehensive.
So while we are all searching for the best medication prescription to help us feel better right now, consider other potential issues for longer term success.

One of the newer supplements is called Mimosa podia which apparently is also a good antidepressant in rat studies. I take this supplement. It causes parasites on the intestinal walls to become paralyzed and scraped out. Taking a lot of pathogenic germs hiding within them into the toilet - the kind of germs that cause us to never get better until they are gone.
