I have Had some probs with the dose but I have been on Lyrica for over 8 or so years and I realize now out of all of my meds it is **the** life saver. In particular it has padded, almost KILLED, my generalized anxiety. Normally, my anxiety is sweltering, esp. with antidepressants thrown in the mix. But Lyrica chills it ALL. I take the max. dose of Lyrica (pregablin) 300mg 3x daily. For long-term anxiety treatment, this stuff and a long-acting benzo like clonazepam, work totally awesome!!I don't normally post posts like this, so please take my word on this. Yes it is n=1, but I am comforted by some of the research out there too. And I also believe anxiety can CAUSE depression, so take it as you will.
