HI everyone:
I have been recently re-diagnosed as having bipolar mixed state(predominantLy depression plus hypomania occurring at the same time) and am prescribed Seroquel 300Mg/day.
I have tried it.AND I've been pretty calm for a couple of days, then an unusually strong surge of melancholic depression, which I never experienced before, occurred.
But why?
My own explaination is that Seroquel 300Mg/day has killed thE hypomania side of my mixed state and left the depressive side only, thus making me feel depressed like never before???? In other words, this is a positive transition from mixed bipolar to classic cyclic bipolar depression? Does this explanation make sense ?
Or is this due the side effect of medication?
PS: ALL the mood stablizers actually destablize me. VPA makes me a zombie, Lamictal makes me angry all the time. Why???
Thanks for reading, any input will be appreciated
This is the end of the thread.
