I was wondering if anyone here ever had the experience of a medication not working as monotherapy (or, even, worsening their condition) and found that it later worked in conjunction with something else?

When escitalopram and trimipramine didn't work, I added quetiapine, and then I got a partial response in a depression which was very treatment resistant (in December 2006).
