Hi,
What do you think guys, is it good idea to use Quetiapine(Seroquel) with Nardil to relieve Nardil induced insomnia? As it is an atypical anti-psychotic which blocks receptors in dopamine pathways, shouldn't it counteract some of Nardil's dopaminergic antidepressant effect?
Tnx!
..and as always,
Good luck!

The dopamine receptor blockade with Seroquel happens at higher dosages, maybe >= 200 mg. At low dosages, in the 25-100 mg range, Seroquel acts more like a sedating antihistamine and a mild antidepressant.
And it is incredibly effective as a sleep aid. I think it would be pretty much impossible for someone who is naive to the drug to take 100 mg and stay awake.
This is the end of the thread.
