i got rejected on wednesday by a girl i was pretty close with, who i have been wanting to ask out for a year. when she told me i basically fell into a state of derealization and shock. it's been three days and i'm still in it. i have a psych appointment on monday but this is pretty scary, i am numb, can't feel anything, and feel like i'm high on a dissociative. i'm on so many meds anyway i don't even know what's going on.
this is very distressing. the only other complicating factor was that my endocrinologist put me on phentermine on tuesday, and maybe that is contributing to these feelings. i'm going to stop taking phentermine tomorrow and see if that helps. i am already on 600mg of wellbutrin so maybe it's just noradrenaline overload.

wellbutrin caused me to feel I was litterly going insane because of the rise of noradrenaline making you on edge about everything. Seriously ask your doctor about Focalin to replace wellbutrin. It's easier on anxiety and it work more direct on dopamine rather than norephinehrine.
Some words to help you with depersonalization is that you have to know that these times will pass. I know a person who was on LSD nd had a horrible trip and thought the only way to relieve the feelings of fright was to commit suicide. It will pass, feelings are not going to be the same forever, they will change just like everthing in the existance of this reality. Benzos may help but with some doctors they don't like to use them. Practice some mental techniques tha will bring you into oneness with this reality. Meditation is good thing to do durig this time. But let me assure you, this will pass. Take care.

600mg wellbutrin is borderline risky.. unless maybe youre on an AED as well.
Phentermine plus that much wellbutrin? If it was me, I would be so anxious I couldnt even shake from fear.. wow.
seriously that is a LOT.
Hope you feel better soon
