I'm just curious about it. What does depakote do? I know about using the prozac but why depakote?
Thanks!

I believe that Morgan once reported having success using Depakote for SRI withdrawal.
For what it is worth, I advanced a hypothesis that some aspects of the withdrawal syndrome are the result of a kindling process, and that anticonvulsants might reduce the intensity of symptoms and shorten the length of the withdrawal period. Subsequent investigation by others have verified this.

The following are helpful in benzodiazepine and alcohol withdrawal, and may be worth trying for SSRI withdrawal:
valproate (Depakote)
oxcarbazepine (Trileptal)
carbamazepine (Tegretol)
gabapentin (Neurontin)
pregabalin (Lyrica)
