I have not taken Clozaril. I am curious, though, why can you not take Zyprexa instead?

My p-doc wouldn't try clozaril with me because all the AAP's made me gain tons of weight and he said clozaril is the absolute worst for weight gain and can cause serious problems with some blood disorder (I forget what).

It requires or used to weekly bloodwork for white count of blood cells. If a person is schizophrenic can be a wonder drug. I saw it with three patients of mine. Causes severe sedation also at first. Phillipa

well, went to the doc strong cocktail of seroquel, abilify,wellbutron,klonopin,cogetin
