How has your illness affected you appetite/weight? If I am going to be this depressed, I wish it made me not want to eat...like it does for some. Have you lost weight? Gained a bunch? I have lost a bunch in the last year, but now back on meds and losing the same motivation to exercise I had for so long, am scared to gain weight....would depress me even so much more.
I eat a very low carb diet and have lost about 105...6'4" 200 lbs.

I didnt do it alone..... I got a script for phentermine and took that in 2 four week courses, because I just couldnt get the weight off alone

When off meds I lose weight. Then I take zyprexa and gain. But now my weight is stable on the zyprexa and I'm losing weight. Partly because of my job (on my feet all day) and because I've started to go back to the gym again, once a week, very intense work outs. I've lost 30 pounds, and I'm on 15mg zyprexa, which made me gain weight but I was totaly sedentary for a number of years. I'm 200lbs and 5'10" now. Its a good thing I have zyprexa or I would be totaly anarexic by now. I was losing a lot when I first got sick, and I was already at a low weight, 150 lbs. The zyprexa has litteraly saved my life. I've been on it now for 13 years. My most productive years yet.
