I had tried switching to Nuvigil (instead of Adderall) and the Nuvigil (kinda like Provigil) really bothers my sinuses. I get a terrible headache and my nose gets all stopped up. It's a great med, but the side effects for me suck.
I have had to switch back to a tiny dose of Adderall 5mg XR. This in combo with a small dose of Seroquel at night (which helps me get great sleep) seems to be working. I think the great sleep is a big thing if you have any type of mood issues.
I have also found that if I work out in the morning, it really helps my BPII. The only problem I notice is on the weekends when I don't work out I have to take an extra Klonopin to keep my mood even.
It's all so complicated, but it all works out well together.
Having BPII ad ADD is hard.

Glad the combo works and guessing sinus problems is a small price to pay for feeling all around good. Excercise was always my medicine also. Glad things going well. Phillipa

I always wondered about that. Provigil works on histamine, but does it worsen allergies in the process?

It made my sinus issues worse. So I stopped taking it and went back to Adderall.
