still trying to find out what med can i switch to that resembles seroquel. i would ask my pdoc but he is on leave for some time

I googled it and clozapine and olanzapine are similar. Olanzapine causes more weight gain and metabolic problems,and I think it also has a bit more EPS.

What condition was the Seroquel being used to treat? What dose of Seroquel were you taking? How did you find it? How long had you been taking it for? Why do you need to switch to another medication? Efficacy/side effects/cost?
There is no simple substitute for Seroquel, but more information will allow us to make useful suggestions.
