Just wondering if anyone has any information on generic parnate versus brand. I have been taking generic for 16 days with no apparent effect. I am up to 60 mg, fairly high dose and it doesn't even cause any insomnia.
Please if you have experiential or other information please let me know. Also if anyone knows an "MAO" dr in Baltimore, please let me know.

> RickI thought there was just "Parnate" and no different generics. Like pfizer makes nardil at least in the U.S.

Actually, in the U.S., Par Pharmaceutical Companies markets a generic version of tranylcypromine:

We don't have the generic version of Parnate in Canada. I find that odd.

I didn't even imagine there was brand-name parnate on the market. It's such an old drug. I take a generic. I don't know who makes it. It works. That's all I care about
