My Dad has been asking me about my sighing a lot. He asks me what is wrong and I say nothing is wrong and nothing really is wrong. I just sigh a lot.
But now I've discovered that I really sigh and yawn a LOT, like maybe once a minute or something. I didn't think much of this at all until I searched online for this. I found out this could be some kind of medical problem.
I think it is most likely anxiety.
How much sighing is normal and should I be worried?

Let's forget about normal.
I wonder if the sighing and yawning may have something to do with the SSRIs you are on.
I've not taken those drugs, but I have taken drugs that activate certain serotonin receptors which do cause yawning (though not sighing).

I always thought it was just the body's way of getting more oxygen? Never gave it a thought. Phillipa

High doses (or combinations) of SSRIs frequently cause yawning.

I somewhere read that excessive sighing can be a symptom of B-12 deficiency.

MY B12 was normal a year ago. I wonder if it is still normal?
I think I sigh because I hyperventilate when I'm anxious. I'll ask pdoc.

Sighing - interesting subject. My primary challenge is unipolar depression. I run somewhat depressed all the time but can have more serious depressive dips. During those dips, I recall sighing a lot. I don't really recall, but think I have read that lots of sighing can be related to depression.

Pdoc doesn't think my sighing is an SSRI side effect. She thinks I still have self defeating thoughts subconsciously and that makes me sigh. I am not aware of these thoughts. She wants me to try to notice when I sigh and take note of what I was thinking about at that time.
