I am thinking ahead here. If my pdoc lets me have the Adderall I have to check with the pharmacy that it is covered by the Provincial Drug Plan. In 2007 when I took it, it wasn't.
What would be the equivalent of 30 mg of Adderall XR in Dexedrine? What is the name of long acting Dexedrine?

Here in the US I think they're called Dextrostat or something. They're old-school "spansule" capsules. I read online that since Adderall has levoamphetamine in it, you can get more oomph out of a lower dose of Dexedrine. One person online said that 20mgs/dexedrine was as effective as 30mgs/Adderall. I have read that there's more of a problem with dexedrine wearing off between doses, so you might want to see about 2 or 3 doses per day (Adderall was originally a diet pill, and it was designed to keep at least some amphetamine floating around for quite some time per dose).

Hi Maxime, I don't have your answer, but I remember the Greenshield covered my dexidrine 80% when I had it. (This is in Ontario, not sure where you are now).

Maxime, I take brand spansules, but Barr generic isn't so bad imo. I hope you get a green light on this.
