Memantine for cognition, executive dysfunction ADD

Posted by uncouth on July 22, 2010, at 13:23:42

Anyone have any experienc wiht 20-40mg of memantine for for depression augmentation, attention defecit, anhedonia, and cognitive / executive dysfunction? Any info experiences or opinions you have would be appreciated!

Glutamate hyperactivity seems to be a cause of OCD< ADHD, bipolar depression etc. so Memantine theoretically seems to be an awesome med, but I havcen't heard of any consistent and significant A/D effects. But what about ADHD, anhedonia, and most importantly , frontal lobe executive, cognitive dysfunction (decision making, planning, execution)
