I recently came upon a thread on this forum that intrigued me. For someone with severe social phobia I was quite astounded.
Has anyone used the medication Desoxyn for social phobia/agoraphobia. I was reading this thread http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/20080519/msgs/831249.html and I was amazed how much an effect this drug had on his social phobia. Right now, I'm taking Nardil for my social phobia, I was wondering why I haven't heard much about this drug.

Amphetamines are definitely not appropriate for obsesity. Obesity is a long term problem which needs a long term solution. Tolerance to amphetamines can develop quickly. There's also the problem of addiction and withdrawal. To compound matters, the potential for cardiovascular toxicity is very worrying in the obese population, who normally have high BP anyway.

Well, meth-amphetamine is a euphoriant. I wouldn't be surprised if it produced a short term confidence boost but the long term effects could include paranoia, worsened anxiety, insomnia and dependence.

Yeah, whenever you hear the word "cure" I'd be a little cautious.

2007 Kobalt Cabernet
The color of this wine is very inky and shows hues of black/blue to purple. Plush aromatic notes of plum, anise, fresh blueberries, and mocha. In the mouth the fruit is bright and full of blackberry, currant and the almost Bordeaux like graphite mineral finish makes for a complex wine, to complete a complex amphetamine...
