New Pdoc / New Regimen

Posted by jade k on June 30, 2010, at 17:11:33

Started today on new combo designed to treat TRD/ MDD. It consists of Tramadol 3 x day, and dexedrine once in the morning. I don't want to jinx myself but I haven't felt this good in a long time. Not all the way there of course, but its a promising start.

I believe this combo will also control the nasty headaches I periodically suffer from.

No depression/ no pain. Is that greedy?

Jade ;-)

Btw- not looking forward to the Pristiq withdrawal I start tomorrow. Sympathy please.

Don't you love it when you feeeeeeeeeel good. Like you could dance down the street or ride your bicycle real, real fast!

I think that it is something magical that is given to us when we feel really bad. One day we have no hope and the next day we do~~ All at once we take the meds or go to the T..and everything is brighter and you see things with more clarity and understanding. It is so cool that you are feeling better.

I've had some positive side effects from Buspar. At least I think it is the Buspar. Whatever it is, I like it. I hope you get relief from the headaches. When the flu had me in it's tightest grip, the headaches almost did me in. I had one on Monday that broke me down.

No...it is NOT greedy~

hmmmmmmm. I'm still looking for the no pain. My depression has peaks and valleys but my pain stays on the straight and narrow road in the valley of hell.

Poor you. I hate withdrawals. I don't do well with them and I am not a very nice person when I am trying to dig my way out of the med hole. Much sympathy!

We are lucky, Phillipa, to have a psych nurse here to go to if we have a question about our meds. It is a good feeling.

Do you remember the new med cocktail that the other poster is on? That would be good to know as I've been doing lots of research involving Pmeds. I'm just curious.

Remission (even partial) is like going from black and white to color, amazing.

It is so cool that you are feeling better.
