Will Depakote make you gain weight? My doc thinks that Depakote will have less weight gain than Zyprexa.
Also - will adding Zonegran stop weight gain? cause weight loss? or does it effect blood sugar?
The past few days I have been taking 250mg of Depakote in the AM and 250mg of Depakote at dinner. I have also just started 100mg Zonegran at dinner as well (it helps me sleep!).
My husband thinks I need to go up on my morning dose of Depakote (which I will). I will probably need to go to at least 500mg Depakote in the AM.
I know if I take Zonegran in during the day I want to sleep all day.
I am already technically obese and need to loose 40 lbs. I wonder if Zonegran will help with that or if I will need to go up on that dose as well?
I don't see my new doc until June 1st.
I would be interested in any opinions on this combo.
