Tofranil PM vs SNRIs

Anyone try a TCA and can compare them to SNRIs? I dislike the side effects of SNRIs in generally (specially digestive and sexual side effects). And was wondering if I can get a similar effect with these with different side effect profile? What is a compatible dosage?
