Hey guys
I've been taking Nardil for two weeks now at 45mg/day. I have been feeling much better. My question is, when do you think it is time to increase my doseage to 60mg/day. Right now, I'm taking 2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon, and later in the afternoon is when i lose some of the 'spunk' from the nardi. Is two weeks on 45mg Nardil enough to bump it to 60 mg a day?

I'd listen to your PDoc, simple as. If s/he did not carefully explain and monitor your progression then they aren't doing their job.As for the losing 'spunk', I know what you mean, those horrible daily variations in mood and cognition. What's funny though is that MAO inhibition takes about 2 weeks and in theory once this is achieved you could drop down to a 15mg maintenance dose and maintain inhibition. So therefore, what's with these mood dips? Something I've never understood. I don't think half-life or peak concentration has anything to do with it either.

Yes- Increase right now to 60mg.
