Anyone tried Lamictal XR versus regular? I metabolize fast and regular Lamictal taken at night would wear off about 4pm, and I can't take it in the morning.
Any input would be appreciated!

RE, taking a dose in the morning...
>Feel zoned out and crappy, can't funtion. Like to take at night to sleep through the sides.
Well, if you switched to taking the XR version at night, the daytime side effects are likely to be more pronounced because your blood level would be higher during the day. Taking a small dose in the morning + your usual dose at night (or slightly less) may have a similar effect to taking the XR, which is why I suggested it. Alternatively, you could try a small dose in the early afternoon + your usual dose at night. I imagine that you'll find a regimen which suits you.
This is the end of the thread.
