Posted by Jeroen on March 30, 2010, at 17:06:20

Hi, i came accros this at askapatient: i experience severe tachardia on seroquel regular

but the person claims on the XR it doesn't have the tachardia..

IS IT POSSIBLE AND HOW COME THE XR DOESNT CAUSE SEVERE TACHARDIA V.S REGULAR SEROQUEL IN DOSES ABOVE 200 mg?

The XR version might theoretically cause smaller fluctuations in blood pressure, and associated changes to heart rate. This is mainly due to reduced peak plasma concentrations. It could still increase heart rate to some extent though.
