Well, my doctor has yet again refused to prescribe me Nardil and is this time trying 60mg Cymbalta (duloxetine) for my GAD, panic attacks and unipolar depression. I'm also taking 600mg lithium, 40mg buspirone and 600mg Lyrica.
Came off Valdoxan as it really didn't do very much.
Does anyone know if Cymbalta affects sex drive? If so, does it affect it as severely as, say, Effexor??

My doctor spoke to a drug rep that said it is better than Effexor in that area, but obviously a drug rep is pretty biased.
For me, Cymbalta was maybe a little better in terms of sexual side effects than Effexor, and Pristiq was definitely better than both Effexor and Cymbalta.

Cymbalta for me is about as bad as Lexapro or Effexor -- but I have other comorbid sex drive problems too. DHEA helps me, but I suggest a blood test first -- my DHEA before I started supplementing it was at the prepubertal level.
