Benzos, the horrid med,the meds people say are bad.
Well first lets remeber, and use klonopin as an example, klonopin came out in the 70`s maybe 60`s.
So there id say it has at the least proved its worth to be still in mainstream use today.
Second i have been on a personal search to find the death rate of benzos with specfic mention of no other drugs invovled.
Well i could only find a certain time era,but it was 2002 0 2007 ,it started at ten at then when broken down to no drugs used the number was 2.
Yess the site benzos.org whatever should post this, the info came from a published material,i dont have it at the moment, but if asked ill gladly re post, just tired now.So what we have are docs telling us new drugs, drugs that are slowy showing years later to be invovled in tumours, psychosis, sucide, murder, and on, were much safer then benzos and people went right along and to this day are scared to death to take a class of meds that actualy work!
Thank god for benzos, they are truly the main treatment for anxiety.

yes....
the only benzo that needs to be taken off the market is halcion because of it's wearoff effects
Klonopin was always good for anxiety, the only thing it made me depressed.

Yess and as much as we hate to admit it,hate to accept it,they are the true treatment for CLINICAL anxiety.
What is horrable is people are made to be afraid of so bad they want off almost as they go on.
The propaganda, the anti benzo site does this, when fact is anxiety usesers are the least to ever have issues with benzos, and its rhe recreational use that causes people hell,i.e pop a xannie,no reason,no therputic time, just hey take it.
So you have users scared to death by it,meanwhile they hold dominant time track records to new ssris, and with all the negative shuving actual death statistics are never presented.
Yet were comforted by the industry to feel safe using ssris when unlike benzos, many headlines pop up constantly like, ssris have severe withdawal, sssris found to cause sucideal ideation, ssris possably toxic,on and on.I sometimes wish people could all see what i do and that is the docs have no more info then you have acess to,that time is gone, they use pdr, sales people, and seminars to learn new drugs,we have access to dominant data bases like pubmed and such.
We need to stop feeling like were helpless and stop believing in propganda so much, benzos have been around a long time, valium helps er patiients stablize through iv.Im rambling here but when i see people let docs totaly control the treatment, and not attempt to do some foot work themsels,i wanna yell out to them.
Its my view only, sorry if i offend anyone,i will not debate it cause i respect the oppsite, view, but because of the docs actions on their own, they have actualy brought me here, brought me to where i value the power of their signature more then anything else, and feel if i ever challenged pharmcology profiles on a med they presented it would end shortly, and they would not like me much.
This is the end of the thread.
