I am currently going to give abilify a try. My doctor says it doesn't cause insomnia which is a huge issue with me. Any thoughts on abilify and insomnia...the dose is 2mg. I will take it with 10mg paxil. She said to take ativan in the evening for a few nights and see if my mood improves.

Hi, I heard it doesn't cause insomnia as well which is a good thing. I really think the Abilify will help the Paxil work better. You are on your way to feeling better! I can just feel it!

No, I am still "sleepless in Montreal". I see my pdoc tomorrow and I am going to ask for Ativan. If he has something better in mind, I will go for that. I really am a wreck and I have bags under my eyes that are HUGE.

I had insomnia with it at the start. But it only lasted about 8 weeks, after which I have had no problems. The Paxil may very well override any sleep problems from it.
