Ok, so the verapamil is failing quickly! I am waiting for pdoc to call and thinking of asking to add Klonopin fo the mood stabilizer factor and to help with the intense irritability and agitation! Anyone agree?

Hard to say but klonopin is a good anti-anxiety med for some. It certainly can't hurt to try it. If your doc will go along...
I do agree with others in previous posts that it might make sense to take a look at meds that have been helpful in the past. I'm not sure adding klonopin is going to be enough...
Hope you have a good talk with your doc.Zana

Stronger than valium and does have mood stabalizing properties can be taken up to 20mg for seizures. Me not a good med for me depresses me. Valium better for me and yes xanax or ativan. Good luck with doc and please write what he says. Love Phillipa

There's some new posting about klonopin to think about. I use it, despite the depressive quality. My anxiety was too unbearable.
This is the end of the thread.
